Our LWIS 1000 gel and spot detecting system utilizes as standard a CMOS camera which has a sensor with 8,192 pixels (3.5μm x 3.5μm) array length. The camera is connected to a large 15” LCD Touchscreen Panel PC controller with tailor made software. The camera is placed in between the film and the light source comprising of a low heat LCD lamp.
