LABTECH ENGINEERING Welcomes Visitors from PRUSA RESEARCH

Labtech Engineering is pleased to welcome visitors from Prusa Research, one of the leading names in the 3D printing industry. Labtech is proud to have been chosen to provide Prusa with three lines of High-Speed 3D Filament Extrusion.

The High-Speed 3D Filament Extrusion Line incorporates all-new features to ensure compliance with CE standards and a maximum line speed of 130 meters per minute for most resin types. The line is very compact, with a total length of only 9.7 meters, thanks to a shortened heating and cooling bath with three independent water chambers and a new horizontal filament accumulator that can hold up to 200 meters of filament. This line also features a new single-station filament winder with a new lay-on system that perfectly aligns the filament side-by-side on the spool.

The Prusa Team spent two days at the Labtech factory conducting tests to ensure that the 3D Filament Extrusion Lines met their requirements and were ready to produce high-quality filaments before being shipped to their facility.
